The Inspirations Paint Kingston (company) Store is looking for an enthusiastic Paint Sales Assistant for a casual position. As part of the DuluxGroup, a leading marketer and manufacturer of premium branded products, Inspirations Paint employees are part of Australia's largest network of paint stores, serving both retail (DIY) and trade (professional/commercial) markets.
The successful applicant would have a background in retail sales, paint knowledge or relevant personal experience in home improvement projects and be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers.
The current position is available for immediate start for an enthusiastic and motivated individual. Business hours are 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 1:00pm Saturday. You must be flexible with your availability and able to work a variety of hours across weekdays and Saturdays.
Responsibilities include
* Providing an exemplary customer experience to both retail and trade customers
* Tinting & mixing paint
* Following the "Inspirations Way"
* Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising
* Store presentation, stock management, housekeeping
* Workplace Health & Safety
Experience / Attributes
* Demonstrated customer service with personalised customer focus
* Well presented both in appearance and communication
* Able to contribute and work in a team environment
* Proven sales experience and a strong knowledge of paint and associated products
* Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints.
* Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems
* Honest, reliable and punctual
* Current driver's licence
* This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs
