As a Commercial Manager for the Logic Innovation Precinct, you will drive growth and revenue through strategic partnerships with industry, education, and defence.
About the Role
This pivotal position oversees commercial operations, business development, events, marketing, and administration, developing strategies to attract and retain partners.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with education teams to co-create cutting-edge curriculum aligned to industry needs and future technologies, providing expert commercial input on high-risk initiatives and championing governance, procurement, and compliance frameworks across multiple technical sites.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a commercial strategy to drive growth across the precinct.
* Lead contract negotiations and pricing model development.
* Collaborate with education teams to develop and promote relevant curriculum.
* Provide expert commercial guidance on high-risk initiatives.
* Advocate for effective governance and compliance frameworks.
About You
We seek an individual with strong commercial acumen and experience in senior administrative/business roles, particularly in commercial management, business development, or marketing. You will need excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, as well as solid project management skills.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Degree in Business Administration/Management or equivalent experience.
* Proven background in commercial management, business development, or marketing.
* Strong project management capabilities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Sound commercial acumen.
Desirable:
* Relevant qualifications in Commercial, Contract Management, or Business Development.
* Experience managing technical or industrial facilities.
* Defence or R&D industry experience highly valued.
* Good understanding of intellectual property law.
