We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Centre Director to lead a much-loved, well-established early learning service in the heart of the Cardiff Heights community.
This is a full-time leadership role for someone who believes that strong relationships sit at the centre of quality early learning. You’ll work closely with families, educators, and children to create a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging and pride.
As Centre Director, you’ll guide a dedicated team, support meaningful learning experiences, and help shape a culture built on trust, care, and collaboration.
Your Role in the Community
* Lead and support a committed team through kind, inclusive, and authentic leadership
* Foster high-quality learning and teaching practices guided by the EYLF and National Quality Standards
* Build genuine, lasting relationships with families and the local community
* Create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where children can thrive
* Support educators’ wellbeing, growth, and professional development
* Oversee centre operations, compliance, and daily organisation with care and confidence
* Encourage a culture of reflection, teamwork, and continuous improvement
About You
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
* Experience in a senior leadership role within early learning
* Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework
* A child-centred leader who values relationships and quality practice
* Warm, approachable communication style
* Organised, thoughtful, and calm under pressure
* A genuine love for early childhood education and supporting people
