Key Requirements:
">
* You must be an Australian Permanent Resident.
* You must have a manual C Class driver's license.
* You must live or work within a reasonable distance of the auxiliary fire station.
Additionally, you will need to meet the following requirements:
">
* You must attend 50% of calls as a day worker with routine hours; or 30% of calls as a shift worker or have non-routine hours.
* You must attend 75% of regular drill and training sessions.
* You must obtain an MRV license within 12 months of employment at your own expense.
* You must participate in ongoing skills acquisition and maintenance programs, including first aid/emergency care.
* You must comply with QFES policies and procedures, including code of conduct, safety, and personal presentation standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:

* You will operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively.
* You will contribute to upkeep and hygiene of station facilities.
* You will ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment and station facilities.
* You will contribute to incident reporting and general station administration as required.
