Our client located in Footscray are looking experienced Sewing Machinist to join their supportive team. Leading the laundry industry they pride themselves on producing and presenting the highest quality work to clients. The production team is at the heart of the business. You will be required to work in one of the following sections of the business depending on skillset and capability Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Mending incoming linen and garments Ability to use sewing machines - Replacing zips and fixing damaged garments Repairing holes, tears, and scratches Hand folding dry garments Checking garments to make sure repairs are done correctly Sorting items ready to be sent back to clients The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience: Ability to work in a repetitive fast pace environment - must be able to stand on feet for long period of time Sewing and garment repair experience Ability to follow instructions Ability to work in a team Unlimited working rights Adhering to all WHS standards Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 2:06pm Pay Rate: $33.08 per hour If this sounds like the right opportunity to you please do not hesitate to APPLY TODAY or email resume to kayla.huckins@excels.com.au
