As a senior HR professional, you will provide specialist advisory services in employment law, policy, and procedure. Your expertise will be sought after to run and advise on complex workplace investigations and employee matters.
* You will develop people and culture, leader, and stakeholder competence in the law and employee relations.
* Your expertise will also include expert remuneration and benefits advisory.
* You will deliver outcomes on complex people and culture projects.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
* An undergraduate qualification in people or human resources or a related discipline.
* A postgraduate qualification in business administration or human resources.
* Extensive experience working as a senior HR professional in a large, complex organisation.
* Experience leading a team.
* Advanced investigative, advocacy, negotiation, mediation, and conciliatory experience.
* Strong experience coaching leaders and senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within the care industry.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Australian employment law, including the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.
They will also have extensive knowledge of the Australian industrial relations system, including Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and common law.
In addition, they will understand procedural fairness and natural justice, as well as privacy and confidentiality requirements relating to People and Culture.
They will also have knowledge of contract law relating to employment and legal process relating to evidence and documentation.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
