The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Estimator to join our growing team in Gold Coast Area. This dual position blends on-site supervision with estimating and insurance assessment responsibilities.
You will coordinate insurance repairs and construction projects across the Gold Coast and surrounding regions.
From initial site assessment and damage reporting through to estimating, project management, and handover, you will play a key role ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Project Delivery
Manage multiple insurance and residential construction projects from assessment to handover.
Coordinate trades, suppliers and subcontractors to meet timeframes and quality standards.
Review specialist reports, engineering, plans and scopes of work.
Complete site-specific risk assessments and ensure WHS compliance.
Maintain professional, customer-focused communication with homeowners and insurers.
Estimating & Assessment
Conduct on-site damage assessments for insurance claims and prepare detailed cost estimates.
Analyse documentation and specialist reports to determine scope and repair requirements.
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Prepare competitive tenders and pricing submissions aligned with insurer and client expectations.
Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, timing and delivery.
About You
You're based in or near Gold Coast and comfortable travelling throughout the Gold Coast and South Brisbane regions.
You're passionate about the building industry and are always willing to learn and develop your building knowledge.
You bring a strong mix of construction knowledge, insurance estimating skills, and hands-on leadership.
You'll also demonstrate:
Minimum 1+ years' experience in supervising or estimating residential construction, preferably insurance repair projects.
Have experience using Primeeco System
Solid understanding of building codes, NCC requirements and construction methods.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and organisational ability.
Customer-focused mindset and proactive problem-solving attitude.
Willingness to conduct roof inspections and work at heights when required.
Current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (mandatory).
Trade background (advantageous).
Valid driver's licence.
