Leadership Opportunity in Mechanical Maintenance
Mechanical Supervisor Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead our team of maintenance professionals. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities of our mechanical assets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience in supervising teams and managing projects. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
* Leading and supervising a team of mechanical fitters and associated trades
* Coordinating and supervising high-risk works and services
* Providing assistance to support works coordination (planning/scheduling)
* Ensuring dedicated commitment to continuous HSE improvement
* Responding to and rectifying equipment failure
* Fault finding of processes
* Basic maintenance tasks to remedy faults
* Installation and augmentation of assets/plant/installations
* Maintenance and fault finding of assets/plant/installations
* Carry out programmed maintenance & capital work
* Commissioning & de-commissioning of assets/plant/installations
* Provide technical support to engineers and production personnel
* Scope equipment required and assisting with provision of quoting & estimates and subcontractor engagement to assist Supervisor and Works Coordinator functions
Key qualifications for this role include:
* Current Drivers Licence
* Truck Licence HC or MR
* National Licence to perform High Risk work
* Trade Certificate in a relevant mechanical discipline
* Willingness to upskill and undertake additional training for ongoing development
* Experience on wastewater treatment plants and all equipment located within the plant (Desirable)
* Experience working on water filtration plants (Desirable)
* Generator Maintenance servicing experience (Desirable)
