Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Resident Pharmacist to join our Department of Pharmacy at Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Rosie Hospital.
Responsibilities
Provide pharmaceutical services across a rotational training programme covering Clinical Services, Dispensary, Medicines Information, Clinical Trials and Preparative Services.
Deliver a clinical pharmacy service to allocated wards and participate in on-call services to Addenbrooke's and other hospitals.
Undertake postgraduate studies appropriate to the level of competence and funding availability.
Assist in the delivery of teaching sessions and support postgraduate pharmacy practice programmes.
Qualifications
MPharm or equivalent EU qualification.
Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacist.
Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
Postgraduate certificate or diploma in Pharmacy practice.
Experience
Postgraduate training recognised by GPhC.
Experience working in a team and making independent decisions.
Experience working in a UK hospital pharmacy.
Knowledge
Clinical audit and audit methodologies.
Clinical pharmacy in at least one specialty and NICE guidance.
Skills
Computer literate with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Independent working or as part of a team.
Pressure coping, problem solving and initiative.
