About the Role
Bundaberg Sugar Ltd is seeking several experienced Irrigation Field Workers to support our cane-growing operations in the Bundaberg Region. These are casual roles with an immediate start and the potential to transition to full-time employment.
We are looking for hardworking and skilled individuals to assist with a range of farming tasks, ensuring effective and efficient irrigation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily farm operations, including irrigation, weed control, spraying, and slashing
* Operate tractors, machinery, and farm equipment safely and efficiently.
* Apply chemicals and fertilisers in line with legislation and company procedure.
What We Are Looking For:
* Current Australian manual driver's licence
* Experience with tractors and irrigation.
* Ability to work outdoors and tackle physically demanding tasks.
* Hold a certificate in chemical application or be willing to obtain.
