National Account Manager – Food & Pet FMCG (Sydney)

Responsibilities
* Deliver sales, profit, and customer growth targets across assigned accounts
* Build and execute strategic customer plans and joint business plans
* Develop and maintain robust relationships with retail customers and key stakeholders
* Own range reviews and secure ranging opportunities for new products
* Analyse sales and performance trends and develop action plans
* Manage pricing, promotions, trade spend, and trading terms
* Partner with internal teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations
* Manage demand planning and forecasting processes
* Oversee promotional activity and claims management

* Achievement of Gross Sales, Net Sales, and profitability targets
* Strong customer relationships and engagement
* Successful contract and commercial negotiations
* Positive range review outcomes across branded and private label
* Delivery of trade spend and forecasting objectives
* Being a visible, collaborative leader across the business
About you
* You're commercially driven, customer‐focused, and thrive in fast‐paced FMCG environments. You bring strategic thinking and hands‐on execution in equal measure, and you enjoy building long‐term partnerships that create real value.
You'll ideally bring
* Minimum 3 years FMCG sales experience
* Experience across Grocery, P&C;, and/or Pet retail channels
* Strong commercial and financial acumen
* Proven negotiation and account management capability
* A track record of delivering sales growth and winning new business
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship‐building skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work autonomously and travel interstate when required
* Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
