As a key member of our high-performing Service & Warranty team, you'll play a vital role in handling customer interactions in various regions around Shepparton, Gisborne, Bendigo, Echuca, and Kerang.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced team, scheduled to attend customers who have recently moved into their new homes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues in a timely manner while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive support to customers by addressing all matters raised and ensuring commitments are fulfilled promptly
* Conduct thorough inspections of customers' homes after the service period finishes or when a new warranty case is registered to qualify defects, disqualify non-defects, and create a scope of works for repairs with costings
* Educate customers on product usage and provide necessary manuals to ensure they can effectively utilize their purchased products
* Ensure punctuality for appointments and notify customers in advance if there are any changes or cancellations due to emergency situations
* Perform ad-hoc site inspections for active jobs to maintain high-quality standards
* Maintain adherence to both company and industry standards during on-site works
* Regularly participate in departmental office days and contribute to team development initiatives
* Efficiently progress through diagnostic and action stages for each allocated home while keeping accurate records of reports

Requirements:
* A trade background in the construction industry, preferably in carpentry
* Experience in customer-facing roles with excellent communication skills
* Background in the building industry, ideally within a new-home environment
* Cert IV in Building as a highly regarded qualification
* Strong self-management and leadership abilities in time-critical situations
* Familiarity with Australian Building Codes, standards, and regulations
* A positive attitude with enthusiasm for delivering outstanding results
