About the Role
We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors to service the Armidale, NSW area. Casual positions available.
Responsibilities
Take blood and other specimens from patients, including performing ECGs and Holter monitoring.
Collect blood and other samples from patients in residential homes and aged care facilities.
Qualifications
Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method.
Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors.
Processing of pathology specimens.
Ability to work alone and as part of a busy team.
Clerical duties and process paperwork.
Current NSW driver licence.
Ability to communicate with the team, referring doctors and patients.
Dedication to patient care and service delivery.
Organisation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
Comply with Work Health and Safety.
Current working with children check and police clearance provided upon commencement of employment.
