What is the focus of the role?
As a Senior Software Engineer, you thrive on understanding and translating customer needs into new products and capability. You apply deep technical expertise and experience in software application layer solutions, to develop and deliver scalable design blueprints across the end-to-end software development life cycle. Your continuous learning and improvement mindset, collaboration and influencing skills are critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions aligned with strategic business goals.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver customer-centric outcomes.
* Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical designs.
* Apply modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD/BDD, and DevOps to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
* Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and integrating them into existing platforms.
* Ensure software solutions are secure, performant, and compliant with internal standards and external regulations.
* Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies to ensure alignment and quality.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in software engineering with a strong grasp of application layer development.
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
* Strong understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycle management.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
