Overview
We are looking for a chef/sous chef to join our team at The Sydney Clinic.
The vacancy is for a permanent part-time position, working 6:30am-2:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is required for any successful applicant.
Experience in Healthcare or Aged Care is preferable.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene levels of food preparation area and kitchen equipment
Meal and food preparation for patients as per recipe guide
Maintain food stock levels
Maintain regular daily temperatures of refrigerators and freezers as per food safety standards
Implement Food Safety Program
Liaise with management and facility staff
Lead, supervise, coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional service
Location
We are located in Bronte, close to Bronte Beach and Bondi Junction.
There is free onsite parking available.
Selection Criteria
Certificate III in Commercial Cooking (preferred)
Good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate required
Available to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Experience in hospital or hotel food service workplace preferred
