Based in Byron Bay, we're searching for a Product & Sourcing Manager who can lead the sourcing and development process and help Mister Zimi create beautifully made pieces theirr customers love.
We're on the lookout for an experienced Product & Sourcing Manager to take the lead on bringing our collections to life — working with design from first sketch and managing logistics partners through to final delivery. This role is for someone who loves product just as much as process, thrives on building strong supplier relationships, and gets a kick out of seeing beautiful ideas turn into beautifully made garments.
As Product & Sourcing Manager, you'll be accountable for the end-to-end production lifecycle across all Mister Zimi suppliers. You'll own the critical path, manage day-to-day factory performance, support sourcing and fabric strategy execution, and lead our technical and sustainability function.
What you'll be doing
Owning the end-to-end product development and sourcing process across all categories
Working closely with Design to translate creative vision into commercially viable, well-constructed product
Managing supplier relationships across offshore and local factories, with a focus on quality, ethics, and long-term partnerships
Negotiating costings, MOQs, lead times, and production schedules
Overseeing sample development, fittings, and approvals to ensure fit, fabric, and finish are on point
Partnering with Production, Planning, and Buying to ensure smooth handover into bulk production
Driving continuous improvement across quality, margins, timelines, and sustainability practices
Keeping a close eye on industry trends, fabric innovations, and sourcing opportunities
What we're looking for
Proven experience in leading Product Development, Sourcing, or Production teams within fashion retail
Strong technical understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes
Confident negotiator with a sharp commercial mindset
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
A collaborative communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally
Someone who values transparency, craftsmanship, and thoughtful production
Experience working with offshore suppliers is a must
