The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) was formed on 1 January 2019. We work to improve the lives of older people by maintaining the integrity of the aged care system.
As the single independent regulator of Australian Government aged care services, we offer a variety of interesting and challenging jobs across most capital cities.

People Capability Development
The People Capability Development (PCD) section focuses on creating a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring that staff are equipped to meet the evolving demands of their roles and the organisation. This is achieved by the development, implementation, regular review and reporting against the People & Culture Strategy and the Organisational Workforce plan. Our work is driven by the strategic objectives of the Commission, including the Corporate Plan, Regulatory Strategy and aged care sector reform.
About the Roles
* A People and Culture Advisor within Capability Coordination support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Commission's People Capability Framework. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to identify workforce capability needs, coordinate the development and endorsement of people capabilities and job profiles, and ensure capability content is embedded into systems and processes.
* A People & Culture Advisor within Implementation and Evaluation is responsible for supporting the coordination, facilitation, reporting and evaluation of internal and external learning solutions for Commission staff.

Position Duties
People and Culture Advisor - Capability Coordination
* Engage with divisions and groups across the Commission to identify people capability needs aligned to strategic workforce priorities.
* Support workshops and working groups to develop people capabilities and job profiles.
* Draft and coordinate documentation to support governance approvals for new and updated people capabilities.
* Support the maintenance of the People Capability Library and Master List of Job Profiles.
* Support the coordination of approvals for new and amended people capabilities with applicable Commission governance committees.
* Coordinate the implementation of people capabilities in relevant systems, including the Commission's learning management and the maintenance of the People Capability database.
* Support planned evaluation and review cycles for existing people capabilities.
* Draft and maintain guidance materials, policies, and procedures related to the People Capability Framework.
* Support the Capability Coordination Assistant Director in delivering strategic workforce capability initiatives, continuous improvement activities and updates to support policies and procedures and the implementation of the People Capability Framework.
* Research existing people capabilities in other regulators and related industry and assess their applicability to the Commission.
* Facilitate learning solutions, including workshops, activities and exercises
* Support the planning and coordination of the Commission's learning solutions
* Collate, record and support the reporting of learning progress/attendance
* Support the creation of plans for the implementation and evaluation of learning solutions
* Support the response to learning enquiries in an accurate and timely manner
* Support the development of learning solutions as required
Position Eligibility Requirements (Selection Criteria):
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
People and Culture Advisor - Capability Coordination
* Demonstrated experience in people capability development in government or industry.
* Research and analysis capabilities.
* Project management capabilities.
* Intermediate written and verbal communication capabilities, preferably with demonstrated. experience in public service.
* Data management and analysis capabilities, preferably with demonstrated experience using MS Excel, SharePoint, PowerApps and learning management systems
* Demonstrate the APS Code of Conduct and Values.
* Demonstrated experience in people capability development in government or industry
* Experience contributing to the design and implementation of people capability frameworks.
* Demonstrated experience using MS Excel, SharePoint, PowerApps and learning management systems
* Ability to facilitate learning solutions.
* Ability to support the evaluation of learning solutions.
* Demonstrated experience with online learning delivery platforms, such as Microsoft Office suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
* Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to travel both intrastate and interstate as required.
* Experience using the Acorn LMS platform.
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience using SharePoint, PowerBI and PowerApps.
Position Notes:
* Salary offered will be between $86,204 - $93,226 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.

* Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for an irregular/intermittent term. Opportunities will be offered for varying periods up to 12 months with the option to extend to a total of 24 months.
