About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering work orders, servicing and repairing mechanical equipment, and performing administrative tasks.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for delivering allocated work orders, servicing, repairing, and inspecting assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes & winches etc. You will also perform administrative tasks and document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical trade principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver allocated work orders
* Service, repair and inspect mechanical assets
* Perform administrative tasks and document work progressions
* Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network
* Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and procedures
Requirements:
* Trade Mechanical certificate
* Current C Class Driver Licence
* Experience in servicing technical mechanical assets
* Ability to work at heights and confined spaces
* Good communication and teamwork skills
