**About the Role**:
MPC Kinetic is seeking an experienced Commercial Officer to join our LNG Commercial team in our Brisbane Head Office, for a 16-month maternity leave cover. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role assists in providing contractual and commercial services to various business units, in particular the management of tenders, contracts activity and commercial risks ensuring compliance with both operational and corporate requirements.

**Key responsibilities include**:
Provide advice and assistance to internal stakeholders on commercial matters
Ensure compliance with work wining process for all tenders and proposals
Understand tender requirements and conduct kick off meeting with relevant stakeholders
Ensure commercial evaluation model for all submissions aligns with the agreed strategy
Assist in bid development and consolidate high quality submission.
Conduct contractual and risk reviews of customer requirements, making recommendation in formulating bid responses
Assist in contracts negotiations
Facilitate contract handover meeting involving key stakeholders
Record all contracts activity on CRM and proactively manage variations, extensions and rates review as required
Conduct periodic contract health checks
Ensure CRM data are up to date and maintain commercial dashboards for reporting purposes
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to understand current market and competition landscape for each business unit
Utilise market intelligence tools and CRM data to guide strategic decisions
Streamline tender and contract management processes and implement improvement
Build documents library to improve bids development
Manage client relationships and attend customer meetings as required
**About You**:
Relevant Degree or qualification in Business, Engineering, Finance or Project Management
Minimum 5 years in the Oil & Gas Industry
Previous experience in a Commercial Administration role or similar
Excellent communications skills teamed with a high level of organisation and initiative
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent commercial acumen
Strong ability to prioritise, set and meet deadlines
Advanced levels of proficiency in Microsoft office
