We are seeking a Truck Driver who will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of heavy vehicles for the transport of goods. The role involves ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle roadworthiness, and upholding company safety and compliance standards at all times.

Task & Responsibilities
 * Performing regular vehicle inspections to confirm compliance with road safety and operational standards.
 * Accurately manoeuvring trucks into designated positions for streamlined loading and unloading.
 * Operating lifting gear, tipping mechanisms, and other mechanical equipment to efficiently handle cargo.
 * Examining consignment paperwork, verifying goods' condition, and securing proof of delivery.
 * Assessing and calculating load mass to meet statutory weight requirements and maintain proper balance.
 * Applying appropriate restraints and protective coverings to safeguard freight during transit.
 * Observing all workplace health, safety, and compliance procedures when handling, loading, or unloading freight.
Qualification & Experience
 * Relevant certification with a minimum of 1 year's professional heavy vehicle driving experience.
 * Possession of a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Multi-Combination (MC) driver's licence.
 * Proven safe driving history with no significant violations.
 * Solid understanding of load restraint practices and transport legislation.
 * Competence in GPS navigation systems and familiarity with modern vehicle technology.
