This is more than a Prinicipal Network Engineer role. We're looking for someone who's going to take on our ethos and help shape the future of our industry. As an integral part of our Professional Services engineering team, you'll benefit from taking ownership and leading the team to deliver architecture, design, and delivery of complex network infrastructures for our customers.

MORE THAN A ROLE

A commercially savvy and customer-focused Consultant, with some of your responsibilities include the following:
Architecture:
* Evangelize re-use through implementation of shared assets
* Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
* Proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards and leading practices.
* Guidance of engineering staff and reviews of as-built configurations during construction phase.
* Identify, communicate and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout full lifecycle.
* Considers the art of the possible, compares various architectural options based on feasibility and impact, and proposes actionable plans.
* Demonstrates strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
* Ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction.
* Ability to balance what is strategically right with what is practically realistic.
Project Delivery:
* Provide technical and professional leadership over large or complex initiatives where multiple architectural disciplines are involved.
* Provide thought leadership and innovative technical solutions to stakeholders.
* Deliver solution designs and architectures.
* Balance stakeholder budget, time and quality.
* Lead technical analysis, implementation and deployment.
* Coordinate technical activities with key internal and client stakeholders.
* Develop technical change requests, migration and test plans.
* Provision proof of concept and pilot environments.
* Support Project Managers in managing scope variations and risks effectively.
* Develop as-built and handover to BAU documentation.
* Liaise with vendors and service providers to execute technical change.
DESIRED CERTS AND SKILLS

* CCNP or CCIE
* Fortigate NSE7

* End-to-end experience in IT services transition and transformation
Demonstrable ability to :
* Lead cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of service transition and transformation.
* Take accountability for outcomes, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
* Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and deliverables.
* Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and transparency.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation across project delivery.
* Embed security best practices into all aspects of transition and transformation.
* Ensure documentation and processes align with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
* Promote a security-first mindset across teams and deliverables.
Technical Skills
in order of preference
:
* Fortinet SD-WAN, FortiManager, FortiSASE, FortiNAC, FortiGate, FortiAP, FortiSwitches
* Azure networking experience
* Cisco Routers, switches, wireless and firewalls
* Ekahau wireless
* Palo Alto Firewall, Panorama and SD-WAN experience (Fortinet essential with exposure to Cisco SDAWAN desirable)
* Meraki MX, MS and MR SD-WAN experience
* Sound working knowledge in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment with robust hands-on network design, implementation, and troubleshooting experience
