Responsibilities
Consistently profile and roast coffee to required standards
Maintain roasting logs, quality control, and cupping notes
Assist with green bean management and inventory
Ensure roasting area cleanliness and safe operations
Prepare high-quality espresso and filter coffee
Maintain a clean, organised workspace
Follow café workflows and food safety standards
Assist with customer enquiries and retail coffee sales
Deliver excellent customer service
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in coffee roasting (minimum 1 year preferred)
Strong barista experience with latte art skills
Understanding of roast profiles, cupping, and specialty coffee standards
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work independently and multitask
Food Safety or Barista qualifications highly desirable
