Offer description

Moore HR Partners are proud to be partnering with one of Australia's most trusted fit-out specialists, to recruit a National Maintenance Manager to join their team, working with some of the country's largest hospitality and retail brands.
About our client
Our client is a long-standing, South Australian family-owned, commercial fit-out specialist recognised for delivering high-quality projects across Australia.
With in-house manufacturing capability and a reputation built on reliability, consistency, and strong industry partnerships, they provide complete end-to-end solutions for national brands and independent businesses alike – to deliver multi-store rollouts, seamless installations, and tailored fit-outs that enhance the customer experience.
Their long-standing client relationships and unwavering commitment to excellence are backed by their continued growth as they look to expand their maintenance operations.
About the role
In this National Maintenance Manager role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating maintenance operations across stores nationally, overseeing all reactive and routine maintenance requests once projects have been handed over by Project Managers.
Working closely with the Managing Director and Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in establishing the maintenance division, implementing systems and processes, and building a strong panel of subcontractors across multiple states, to be called upon as required.
This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive individual with a trade background who is looking to step off the tools and move into a management, scheduling and coordination role.
You will be the central point of contact for any reported defects, maintenance issues and service requests, ensuring work is scheduled efficiently, subcontractors are engaged effectively, and high-quality service standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Driving the implementation of maintenance systems, processes and scheduling processes.
Working closely with internal leadership to shape the structure of the maintenance division, transitioning from reactive to proactive maintenance.
Building and maintaining a trusted maintenance subcontractor pipeline across multiple states.
Driving strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
Coordinating reactive and routine maintenance requests nationally, while ensuring all compliance, documentation and reporting requirements are met.
About you
The successful candidate will have strong maintenance coordination experience, with a background in supervising or coordinating teams, ideally within a commercial environment.
Whilst not essential, it is advantageous to have a trade background and/or a solid understanding of commercial trades/building maintenance and be confident managing both reactive and routine maintenance programs.
You will be highly organized and proactive, with the initiative to drive new systems, processes and oversee scheduling coordination to provide high-quality service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, developing trusted rapport with subcontractors, clients and internal teams, taking pride in delivering high quality maintenance solutions.
You will demonstrate the ability to independently drive outcomes while contributing to a collaborative team environment – both of which will be key to your success in this role.
