This Learning Support role gives teachers extra support during busy literacy blocks. Help students feel more settled and confident and bring community connection into the classroom. EdConnect school's partnerships make space for students who benefit from one‐on‐one attention. Newton Primary is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to support students during literacy time. Many of the students need extra opportunities to read aloud, feel successful, and build confidence. You don't need teaching experience, just patience, kindness, and a willingness to be a steady presence in their school week.
Key Tasks
* Listen to students read
* Help with simple literacy activities
* Offer encouragement and celebrate small wins
* Build calm, positive relationships
