The Role

As a Registered Nurse in SESLHD, you will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team in the provision of person-centred care; and leading, supporting and supervising other nurses and care roles.

Selection Criteria
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse that applies to a Cardiothoracic ICU clinical setting
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and be able to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations
- Current computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement person-centred practice
- Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to patient care
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload
