The Role
Scoffers are looking for an out-going & customer-service focused Smoko Van Driver to join our friendly team.
Each day is filled with activity - you will need to be fit, reliable, and able to multi-task. This is a great job for someone who has the ability to handle high pressure situations and still remain calm and positive.
Success means you have a strong work ethic, are able to maintain an existing customer-base and can expand it to increase sales revenue.
Though our drivers work independently, they support our team environment by maintaining open-communication lines with management and their co-workers.
Great Hours
Drivers work 28-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday. There is no public holiday, weekend or night shift work. Scoffers has a fleet of air-conditioned, low-kilometre automatic vehicles.
Must Have
* Current Open Drivers Licence, and
* Clean driving record for insurance purposes.
* Previous experience in retail sales or hospitality is a bonus.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
The role is customer-focused, and successful drivers take pride in their work. Drivers will need to :
* Review their daily ordering schedule, load and unload stock, rotate stock
* Observe food handling, hygiene and health & safety requirements
* Complete sales transactions accurately through POS
* Arriving punctually at set stops
* Maintain their work environment (fuel, clean and report maintenance issues)
* Operate their vehicle within all transportation laws.
