A great opportunity to join a fast-growing Drilling Equipment Manufacturing Company C&H Recruitment are looking for a Stock Controller for our client based in Picton, NSW. Our client is a small but fast-growing company specialising in the fabrication and delivery of Auger Drills for sites all over Australia.
A position for a Stock Controller has become available, offering both an opportunity for those wishing to progress into the Logistics Industry, as well as already experienced Stock Controllers looking to settle themselves into a company that is growing quickly into a leader in their industry.
**About the Role**:
- Ensure integrity of specific client inventory held at the client's distribution centre.
- Investigation of all stock discrepancies and reporting as required.
- Co-ordinate daily cycle counts and wall to wall storage empty location checks to ensure integrity of client inventory nationally.
- Assist with stock takes including scheduling, updating procedures, and reconciliation resources.
- Assist with training of inventory control concepts and methods of measurement and improvement.
- Promote and develop a team environment that is cohesive and continually improves work practices and procedures.
- Ensure Logistic customers receive accurate records regarding pallet transactions monthly.
- Safely and efficiently operating forklift equipment when required.
**Requirements for the Role**:
- Experience within the Logistics and Warehouse Industry OR Experience in Drilling / Mining Equipment
- Forklift Licence** - **_Required_**:
- IT Skills and Experience i.e. MS Excel and MS Office knowledge
- Strong Teamworking and Leadership skills
