We partner with the broader Jacobs business to design, deliver and evaluate communications and engagement approaches for infrastructure, sustainability and environmental initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. We help our clients solve their most complex challenges in ways which consider stakeholder and community impacts, and deliver positive environmental outcomes.
We have an immediate opportunity for a **Communications and Engagement Consultant **in **Melbourne. **In this role, you'll be working across a range of markets including health, water, power, transport, and defence, and have the opportunity to work on projects across Australia and New Zealand.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $98,000 annually.
**Here's What You'll Need**: Your day-to-day**
As an early to mid-career consultant, you will:
- Prepare, deliver and evaluate stakeholder and community engagement plans
- Prepare tailored communications for a range of channels and audiences.
- Coordinate and help facilitate engagement activities, in-person and online
- Prepare outcome reports including an analysis of qualitative and quantitative outcomes
- Build trusted relationships with a range of clients and internal project teams
- Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in continual improvement
- Collaborate with a range of technical specialists, from blue-sky thinkers to detailed orientated technical experts.
**What you'll bring to the team?**
- A tertiary qualification in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Social Science, Arts or related field (IAP2 certification desirable).
- Ability to easily build relationships and engage with range of stakeholders
- Excellent writing skills and a consistent record in producing high quality communications
- Strong administrative, organisational and problem-solving skills together with the capacity to be flexible and adaptable.
- A 'can do' attitude with an interest in continuous learning and improvement
- An understanding of the increasing demand for engagement and social planning, and an appreciation of the important role dedicated communications and engagement specialists play.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite, particularly in the production of high-quality publications, presentations and tools.
