CBCO BREWING BRAND AMBASSADOR (VIC): Vic East Retail and Hybrid

How would you like to work for one Australia's leading independent craft breweries? With recent staff movements, we have a vacancy in our VIC Sales team. We are seeking a self-motivated, driven and passionate sales member to live, breathe and grow CBCo Brewing in inner Cirt East and wider regions across retail/hybrid and New Business On Premise.

The CBCo Brewing Brand Ambassador is an energetic and team-oriented member of the CBCo Brewing team with passion for good beer and a strong interest in driving sales, brand presence and product distribution across VIC.

You will be leading all sales execution in Retail/Hybrid and new business hunting across the Eastern Vic territory with a key focus on relationships, sales growth, NPD launches and activating promotions. You will be responsible for sales planning, sale projections and dealing with independent banner groups. You will be responsible for leading key sales discussions and negotiations with retailers, planning sessions, managing sales progress and ensuring deadlines are met. You will be responsible for communicating monthly and yearly sales projections with the VIC State Sales Manager and assisting with state distribution strategies with the logistics team.

Position This position is a dynamic role that focuses on increasing sales and awareness both On and Off premise, grow relationships across the hospitality industry within the state, identify and create opportunities for the brand to grow equity and volume in the state.

Requirements Include

Knowledge and passion of beer
Experience in a similar role or equivalent Hospitality experience.
Experience with using a CRM
Good commercial acumen
Understanding of the Hospitality industry
Can identify opportunities and grow strategic relationships
Have a car license
Flexible with working hours, work autonomously
Flexible work will include late nights and some weekend work.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

Ensure minimum number of sales calls per week set by the State Sales Manager - Activate or host events/tastings within both Retail and On premise, including festivals.
Engage and drive the CBCo brand & volume across targeted accounts and "Nightlife Precints" - Growing and maintaining relationships in the industry. - Strategic thinking to increase distribution and visibility of CBCo Brewing brands in a highly competitive market.
This role will work alongside a team of 4 Brand Ambassadors, Brewers, key accounts and report into the Victorian State Manager.

Wholesale Market Management

Increase overall sales & consumption and brand presence on a state level - Achieve and monitor budgeted sales targets, profit margins and KPIs within your territory.
Operate effectively within corporate and budgetary guidelines.
Develop and execute sale strategies to obtain achieve profit targets for your state.
Exceed volume budget and profit targets through effective territory planning, increased ranging and trade investment management.
Develop new business and grow existing accounts within and develop a plan to improve or establish new business with such accounts.
Establish and maintain strong positive relations with key accounts and distribution partners
Staying ahead of beer trends and highlighting opportunities for new business within the beer market as well as other potential markets.
Work with the Logistics Coordinator to deliver efficient movement of stock through distributors and other distribution channels across the state.
Ensure product quality through organised and random account calls & venue/store visits.
Educating customers, sales personnel and decision makers regarding the CBCo Brewing history.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Sound knowledge of the beer production process and manufacturing of beer products
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers
Strong persuasion skills: Ability to influence others decision making or persuading others to change their minds or behaviour
Excellent Time Management Skills - able to be proactive and take initiative
Excellent organization and coordination skills. Able to manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently
Social perceptiveness - Being aware of others reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
Decision making skills - collect, assess and interpret relevant information and make sound judgment
Good analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find selling opportunities
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare presentations.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in meeting sales and revenue goals.

Computer Software

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft excel, Office 365, word, google drive and company CRM.

Human Skills

Neat and clean personal presentation
Ability to coordinate a number of tasks at the same time
Ability to engage with team members

Special Requirements

Must have the ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as weekend and extended workdays are necessary.
Extensive Travel required, including overnight stays.

Hours of Work -Full time position with flexibility to work outside of general working hours including weekends when required.
