Senior Legal Counsel Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. As a trusted adviser, you will play a key role in providing incisive and practical legal advice on a broad range of platforms, managed investments and managed accounts matters.
Responsibilities:
* Providing expert legal advice on product design matters, disclosure, regulatory compliance, investment management and negotiation of agreements.
* Maintaining and enhancing a strong culture of compliance and managing risk in terms of regulatory and legal obligations.
* Establishing effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts.
About You:
* You have significant PQE experience in financial services preferably with private practice background.
* You possess extensive knowledge of the Corporations Act, ASIC instruments & policy as well as industry standards.
* You can effectively manage stakeholder relationships at all levels by exercising judgment & influencing key governance outcomes.
