The role
Occupational Therapist – Allied Health Professional Level 1 (AHP1) – Full Time Contract (up to 2 years)
Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network, Murray Bridge – A full‐time temporary contract up to two years. Salary: $73,******–$89,****** p.a., including superannuation, leave loading, salary sacrifice benefits and potential regional incentives (subject to the Enterprise Agreement).
Location
Murray Bridge, South Australia – part of RMCLHN covering Renmark, Paringa, Berri, Barmera, Waikerie, Loxton, Pinnaroo, Lameroo, Karoonda, Mannum, Tailem Bend, Meningie, Tintinara and Coonalpyn.
Responsibilities
- Provide person‐centred occupational therapy services across paediatrics, acute care, residential care, aged care and community settings.
- Develop and deliver evidence‐informed treatment plans under the guidance of an experienced AHP2 clinician.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and external service providers to coordinate care.
- Deliver preventive, early intervention, therapeutic and evaluation services to individuals, groups and health‐promotion contexts.
- Manage and prioritise own workload effectively.
- Support professional development and expand clinical capability through exposure to diverse settings.
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Eligible for practising membership of the relevant Qualified Association.
- Demonstrated ability to apply professional judgement with support from a senior clinician.
- Experience or readiness to provide individual, group and health‐promotion services.
Legal & Training Requirements
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check.
- DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check.
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups.
- Appropriate immunisation – CategoryA as required by SA Health.
