About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to drive our tax function, delivering expert advice across corporate, indirect, and international tax domains.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee tax compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions
* Review and coordinate preparation and lodgment of income tax, GST, VAT, and FBT returns
* Lead development and maintenance of tax policies, procedures, and internal compliance processes
* Engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to papers for executive leadership and board
* Manage tax audits, ATO reviews, and liaise with external advisors and authorities
* Provide strategic tax advice to support commercial decision-making
* Drive tax planning initiatives to optimize Nova's tax position
* Support international tax matters including transfer pricing and global mobility
* Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation and advise on impacts
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting and CA/CPA accreditation
* Strong experience in tax, including exposure to FBT, GST, and income tax
* Management experience is highly desirable
* Knowledge of international tax principles and transfer pricing is desirable
* Proven ability to lead tax processes and deliverables
* Professional services or commercial experience preferred
