About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Roof Plumber to join our friendly and supportive team based in Osborne Park. In this role, you'll handle roofing maintenance tasks for commercial, industrial, and government properties across the Perth metro area and surrounding suburbs. You'll primarily work on government maintenance contracts, servicing facilities such as schools, aged care centres, colleges, and other public buildings.
Responsibilities
* Perform general roof maintenance and carpentry tasks on various properties.
* Repair, install, and replace roof sheets, tiles, gutters, flashings, downpipes, skylights, fascia and cladding.
* Trace and repair leaks effectively.
* Remove debris from roofs to prepare for repairs and installations.
* Clean gutters.
* Provide minor quotes for small maintenance jobs.
* Order materials as required.
* Use AWB company software for administrative tasks.
* Participate in the 'On‐Call' Duty Roster when needed.
Who We're Looking For
* Essential: Current Driver's License, National Police Check, and White Card.
* Preferred: Certificate or qualification in roof plumbing/roof carpentry.
* Preferred: Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial and government property maintenance.
* Own tools required.
* Experience using mobile devices to complete paperwork and document time and materials for invoicing.
* Strong safety awareness.
* Current Working at Heights certificate.
