About the role
We are seeking a dynamic leader who can effectively drive organisational change, including the implementation of Support at Home reforms, while leading teams through periods of transition with clarity and confidence. This role requires strong remote leadership capability, with the ability to engage, support and inspire geographically dispersed teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
The successful applicant will be committed to enhancing the participant experience while ensuring high quality, continuity of care. They will be passionate about developing and empowering their team, fostering growth, capability and resilience, and ensuring staff are well supported to deliver best-practice, person-centred services in alignment with Comlink Australia's mission and strategic direction.
Note: Some travel will be required.
Key Accountabilities:
Leadership and Management
* Provide leadership excellence through the achievement of performance indicators set out in the organisation's strategic plan and priorities
* Lead, support, coach and mentor the care team to undertake business and service improvements
* Collaborate across the organisation while championing strengths-based leadership, which is ethical, results driven and future oriented
* Develop a high performing culture, committed to quality and outstanding customer service
Governance Leadership
* Actively identify, monitor and manage areas of key risk and lead appropriate escalation and response where required in collaboration with the Governance and Risk management team
Service planning and management
* Support optimal service delivery by overseeing comprehensive care management, ensuring the wellbeing of participants through case work, advocacy, planning and review
Selection Criteria
1. Relevant tertiary level qualification i.e. Bachelor of Allied Health, Social Science – Behavioral Studies, Community Services, Human Services or Nursing along with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
2. Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a diverse team to achieve organizational goals and foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
3. Experienced in Case Management preferably within the Home and Community Care sector with advanced knowledge of person-centred care
4. Demonstrated experience in service development and leading continuous quality improvement, emphasizing practice and service excellence in accordance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality standards
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating relatability and engagement. Exhibits high emotional intelligence and a proven ability to cultivate relationships and connect effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
6. Understanding of specialized service delivery within diverse groups, particularly in relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD, Veterans, Disability, Mental Health, LGBTI+, and Homelessness
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, and sector engagement and advocacy are desirable.
