Job Title: Truck Driver / Recycler Yard Worker

We are seeking a dependable and experienced truck driver to join our growing team, who are passionate about recycling, waste reduction, and making a meaningful impact on the environment.
As a truck driver in our metal recycling yard, your will be responsible for transporting scrap metal to and from various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. You'll work closely with our yard team to load and unload materials safely and efficiently, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a truck to transport scrap metal to and from our yard.
* Load and unload materials using hi-ab and forklift.
* Keep thorough and precise records of all pick-ups and deliveries.
* Assist in the yard when necessary, helping with sorting and organising materials.
* Communicate with yard staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
* Minimum HC Truck License.
* Minimum 1-2 years of truck driving experience.
* Previous hook truck experience preferred.
* Previous experience operating a Hi-ab preferred.
* Ability to operate forklifts or other yard equipment is a plus (training can be provided).
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Physical fitness, as the role may involve heavy lifting and outdoor work.
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
* Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
