Desktop Support Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced desktop support specialist to join our IT team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing timely and effective desktop support to our staff across Australia and Asia Pacific offices.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, and at least one year of experience in a customer-focused service desk role. They must possess excellent knowledge of desktop technical support, MS Office, and Windows 10/11.

* Incident Administration: You will be responsible for managing and resolving incidents related to desktop systems, software, and hardware.
* User Account Deployment: You will be responsible for deploying user accounts, including setting up passwords, profiles, and access permissions.
* User Security Access Changes: You will be responsible for implementing security changes to user accounts, including changing passwords, resetting access permissions, and updating user profiles.
* End User Assistance: You will provide end-user assistance with desktop systems, software, and hardware, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
* End User Equipment Deployment and Administration: You will be responsible for deploying and administering end-user equipment, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
* IT Consumables Administration: You will be responsible for ordering and managing IT consumables, including printers, toners, and other office supplies.
* PC / Peripheral Hardware / Software Error Investigation / Reporting: You will investigate and report errors related to PC and peripheral hardware and software.
* Server / Network Service Error Investigation / Reporting: You will investigate and report errors related to server and network services.
* Print / Scanning Administration and Assistance: You will administer and assist with print and scanning services, including printer maintenance and repair.
* Voice Mobile / Fixed Line Administration and Assistance: You will administer and assist with voice mobile and fixed-line services, including phone maintenance and repair.
* PC / Peripheral Hardware Warranty / Fault Service Calls: You will respond to warranty and fault-related service calls for PC and peripheral hardware.
* Server / Network Hardware Warranty / Fault Service Calls: You will respond to warranty and fault-related service calls for server and network hardware.
* 3rd Party Hardware / Software Support Liaison: You will liaise with third-party hardware and software vendors to resolve issues and obtain support.
* Periodic / Ad-hoc Meetings with Staff to Discuss IT Directions and Solutions: You will attend periodic and ad-hoc meetings with staff to discuss IT directions and solutions.
* Other IT Tasks as Needed to Ensure Business Needs Are Met: You will perform other IT tasks as needed to ensure business needs are met.
