About the Role
You will be responsible for the design, coordination and delivery of High Voltage electrical works, working closely with project managers, supervisors, electricians and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Design, review and delivery of HV electrical systems and installations
* Site inspections, commissioning support and fault investigation
* Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations and project specifications
* Technical leadership and mentoring of junior engineers and field teams
* Preparation of documentation including drawings, reports, test results and certifications
* Liaising with clients, network authorities and internal stakeholders
* Supporting project planning, scheduling and cost control
* Driving a strong safety culture across all works

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Minimum 5–10 years' proven experience in High Voltage electrical engineering (essential)
* Strong knowledge of HV systems, protection, testing and commissioning
* Practical site experience (not just desk-based design)
* Excellent understanding of Australian Standards and electrical compliance
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team
* Current Australian driver's licence
* Eligibility to work in Australia
Highly regarded:
* HV switching / authorisations
* Experience in industrial or infrastructure environments
* Exposure to project delivery and site supervision
* Registration or eligibility for professional accreditation
