OverviewFire & Safety Australia is seeking multiple experienced, AHPRA-registered Paramedics to support survey programs across its clients Pilbara sites.
These roles combine remote medical support and response, field logistics, and culturally respectful care.You'll work alongside Traditional Owners and survey teams in rugged environments, delivering high-quality medical support and observations in a remote regional setting supporting teams of between 6 and 30 people on a given day.This unique chance blends clinical, remote fieldwork and cultural engagement — ideal for paramedics who thrive outside the typical urban environment and have true remote standalone experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver pre-hospital emergency response and Advanced Life Support (Level 1) when requiredAdminister and interpret medical questionnaires to support fitness-for-work assessmentsMonitor health and wellbeing of the field crew, including Elders and Traditional OwnersSupport initial response planning and contribute to survey logisticsMaintain accurate clinical documentation using systems such as CorityNavigate rugged environments and assist with vehicle and equipment coordinationPrepare, check and maintain medical equipment, consumables and medicationsDesirable QualificationsAHPRA Registered Paramedic with 3+ years on-road experiencePhysically fit and mentally prepared for remote field deploymentStrong situational awareness and ability to work independentlyFlexible to work 12-hour shifts, Primarily day shift, on an as rostered FIFO basisFlexibility with roster with an approximate even time assignmentPrevious experience with Traditional Owner communities, Pilbara-based work, or remote Indigenous healthcareFamiliarity with RTIO systems, including:CorityRTIO-HSE clinical protocols and documentation standardsHLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse TestingHLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary ResuscitationRIIVEH305F – Operate and Maintain a Four-Wheel Drive VehicleCert III in Response and Rescue (or elements of) DesirableDeployments of up to 10 days in rugged, off-grid terrainPilbara based with flights Perth to Karratha then driving to regional sitesInvolves extensive rugged bush walking, off-road driving, and working without access to regular facilitiesCollaborative work alongside Elders, Traditional Owners, and Heritage AdvisorsHow to ApplyPlease click the "Apply" link to start your application.
