About the position
We are seeking an experienced ICT Support Officer to join our IT team. Being the first point of contact for ICT support and assistance to staff and stakeholders, you will:
• Provide tier 1 and tier 2 ICT support services to City of Wanneroo staff and stakeholders by answering Service Desk phone calls and addressing Service Desk request tickets in an ICT Support system.
• Troubleshoot, resolve and provide technical support to City of Wanneroo desktop computers, laptops, tablets, printers, peripherals, desktop phones, mobile devices and software applications.
• Create and maintain support documentation to assist City of Wanneroo staff and stakeholders.
• Review ICT support work instructions to ensure they are current and relevant.
• Maintain relevant registers, databases and systems, ensuring that information is accurate, securely stored and accessible.
This position may require you to work outside of normal business hours or be on call to support the delivery of service unit activities. This role requires a level of physical fitness for some activities undertaken.
About you
This position will be an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and personable ICT professional. To be successful in this position, you will have the following:
• Qualification in relevant discipline such as Information Technology or other relevant industry certifications equivalent experience.
• Experience in providing first and second tier ICT support for a medium to large organisation.
• Experience in providing Microsoft Technical Support, such as Microsoft: Active Directory, Exchange, Azure, Office 365, Windows Operating Systems and products.
• Possess a valid (Class C) Western Australia driver's license.
• Ability to provide on call ICT support after hours if required.
