The role is based in the Front Office department which is responsible for the smooth coordination and supervision of the Front Office area including guest services, public areas, and reservations.
**Key responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Check in and check out of hotel guests
- Taking reservations
- Assisting with all guest enquiries
- Balance the accounts at the end of the shift
- Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis
- Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash transactions, accounting procedures, issue of room keys and guest confidentiality/privacy
- Security and safety of hotel staff & guests
- Ensuring that reception area is neat and tidy at all times
We are seeking someone who will be interested in assisting the Management team with the following;
- Create engaging and informative digital content for social media channels including the Hotel website, and Facebook and Instagram
- Using Mailchimp to create an EDM for the Hotel which include promotions and events in the St Kilda area
