About the RoleThis permanent, full-time position will see you teaching Mathematics to students across Years 7–12, delivering engaging and challenging learning experiences aligned with ACARA and SACE requirements. You will plan and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and work closely with colleagues to continually refine curriculum and pedagogy. Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) is highly desirable, offering the opportunity to contribute to our global learning programmes. In this role, you will:Teach Mathematics to Middle and Senior School students, using a variety of instructional strategies to engage diverse learners.Develop, plan, and deliver curriculum content in line with ACARA and SACE, and contribute to IB programmes where applicable.Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.Differentiate learning to support students across a range of abilities and learning styles.Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and best practices.Contribute to faculty projects, curriculum review, and ongoing improvement initiatives.Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment.Participate in the broader life of the School, including co-curricular and pastoral care activities. You will bring:Registration (or eligibility) to teach in South Australia with relevant tertiary qualifications.Extensive knowledge of Middle and Senior School Mathematics, including ACARA and SACE curricula.Experience with, or a genuine interest in, the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.Ability to design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.Effective assessment and feedback practices that drive student growth.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and colleagues.A commitment to professional learning and active participation in school life.
