Control Systems Technician – Lead Automation Projects in Hybrid Power. Step into a high-impact role automating hybrid power systems across renewable, hybrid and diesel generation platforms. If you're a skilled electrician or control systems technician ready to lead commissioning projects and own your projects, this is your next move. You will be competent in PLC programming and ready to take on an autonomous role supporting the commissioning and support of these projects.
Base pay range
A$120,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Install and wire control systems across hybrid power setups
Develop PLC and SCADA code for automation interfaces
Commission and test systems, complete documentation
Provide remote and in office technical support
Manage projects and liaise with clients
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI or microprocessor controls
Willingness to travel (domestic/international)
Industrial exposure in power generation or manufacturing
Solid communication and safety mindset
