As a Speech Therapist within our Children's Services team, you'll play an important role in supporting children to achieve their communication goals and thrive in everyday life. Working collaboratively with families, educators and allied health professionals, you'll assess, plan and deliver evidence-based therapy programs tailored to each child's individual needs.
Responsibilities
This is a temporary full-time maternity leave position commencing in August **** for a period of up to 12 months. The role works 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday as required, with penalty rates applicable for Saturday work. There may be future ongoing opportunities available following the conclusion of this maternity leave contract.

This position has been identified as a Child‐Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply, you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number. You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.
