KAEFER Integrated Services is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our dedicated Minor Structural Crew at Goonyella. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the reliability and performance of our operations while enjoying a long-term opportunity offering a 4/3 roster.
ABOUT THE JOB
Reporting to site supervision, you will be part of a close knit, high performing team delivering safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance services across site. You will support maintenance, structural repairs and fabrication works across fixed plant and heavy industrial assets at Goonyella coal mine.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform structural repairs, fabrication and maintenance activities
* Carry out welding, cutting and fitting of steel components
* Support maintenance, breakdown and project works
* Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
* Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
* Complete pre-starts, JHAs and risk assessments
* Work safely within site procedures and Australian Standards
ABOUT YOU
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Proof of right to work in Australia
* Trade Qualification – Boilermaker / Fabricator
* OHS / Construction Card
* Working at Heights (within 2 years)
* Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres (within 2 years)
* Standard 11
* Coal Board Medical
* BMA Core Induction
