An established Australian engineering contractor delivering complex infrastructure across the renewables, utilities, and high-voltage transmission sectors is looking to appoint an Estimator to support continued growth within its pre-contracts function.
The Opportunity
You'll join a growing estimating team supporting bids and delivery across large-scale electrical infrastructure projects. The business already has specialists across utilities, substations, wind and energy storage—and is expanding capability as project demand increases.
This is an opportunity to step into a technically strong team with exposure across a diverse renewable and HV portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare cost estimates for HV transmission and electrical infrastructure projects
* Support bids across substations, overhead transmission and renewable generation
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement and scheduling teams during pre-contract phases
* Contribute to tender strategy and technical submissions
* Assist with pricing models and project risk assessments
Ideal Background
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience across:
* High-voltage transmission infrastructure
* Substations
* Wind farms
* BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)
* Brownfield electrical upgrades
* Overhead transmission lines
