Responsibilities and Duties:
* Perform field sampling and testing activities plus soil/ground investigations.
* Be the site liaison for contractors and clients.
* Undertake laboratory testing on construction materials such as soil, concrete and aggregates.
* Analyse and calculate results of testing Prepare test reports and perform quality assurance testing
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Min. 1 year experience
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering OR Laboratory Technology field with a Certificate IV or Diploma preferred
* Demonstrated verbal and written communication and project management skills
* Solutions and efficiency focused, partnering and client relationship orientated
* Lateral thinking, problem solving and strong collaboration and team working abilities
* Passionate about geotechnical engineering and geology with a broad range of expertise including investigation, interpretation, modelling and design
* Experience in using geotechnical software to analyse problems and form solutions
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the team, with clients and stakeholders
