We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hospital Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, with specific experience working in day hospitals or private overnight hospitals. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute their expertise to an exciting and dynamic technology healthcare environment.
Altura Health has built Australia's preferred patient administration system, FYDO used by over 190 private hospitals across Australia.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting our clients (hospitals) via phone and email
- Hospital billing (data entry, review and debt collection)
- Conducting training sessions on FYDO to reception staff, DONs, clinical teams
What we’re looking for, someone that has
- prepared medical charts
- prepared theatre lists
- processing of patient information forms
- performed online eligibility checks and interpreted the information returned by the fund
- scanned medical records
- admitted/discharged patients in any PAS
- private hospital billing
- understand of health fund contracts
- processed payments
- managed health fund rejections

Experience in FYDO is not essential as training will be provided however having used FYDO in a facility is advantageous, however having used products like webpas, epas are also very helpful.
