Overview
The Perfect Events Group (PEG) is a full-service creative powerhouse with 18 years of experience, delivering 2,000+ events. We partner with clients to create unforgettable experiences that connect, inspire, and leave a lasting impact. We work across large-scale outdoor experiences, fundraising galas, and more, blending strategy, creativity, and flawless execution. We are a collaborative team that thrives on big ideas, bold thinking, and meticulous delivery.
We are looking for a Full Time and Part Time Event Manager to join the team and lead a variety of projects.
This role is about crafting moments that matter — where creativity meets operational excellence, and every event tells a story.
Hours are primarily 9am–5pm weekdays, with flexibility for evening, weekend, and on-site event work when needed.
About the Role
This role reports directly to the CEO for projects and events, and to the GM of Operations for broader business operations. You’ll work closely with other Event Managers to ensure smooth delivery across all projects, while guiding and supporting Event Assistants and other junior team members involved in assigned events.
- Own end-to-end projects, leading your event team to deliver events on time, on budget, and on brand.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, becoming a trusted partner in their success.
- Maintain regular WIP meetings — with clients, the CEO, and GM — to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Responsibilities
- Dream up creative concepts and ideas aligned with client goals and PEG’s standards.
- Translate ideas into event documentation: briefs, timelines, production schedules, and related materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers and partners to keep events within budget while delivering high-quality experiences.
- Oversee budgets and manage technical, production, and logistical elements from planning to delivery.
- Lead risk and safety planning to ensure safe, successful events.
- Manage bump-ins, event days, bump-outs, and post-event debriefs.
Operational Excellence
- Own and manage the budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and impact.
- Coordinate logistics, production, and technical aspects from planning through delivery.
Business Growth & Brand Representation
- Coach and inspire Event Coordinators and Assistants to develop their skills.
- Collaborate with the CEO and GM of Operations to craft proposals that win current clients and opportunities.
- Represent The Perfect Events Group brand consistently in how we present, communicate, and deliver, aligned with our values: Respect, Trust, Integrity, Communication, Teamwork, Support, Honesty.
- Contribute to evolving processes and continuous improvement; build lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and the event community.
About You
You are an events professional with proven experience producing a broad range of events (outdoor activations, fundraising galas, conferences, community festivals). You have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of event production principles, budgeting, documentation, and scheduling.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and deliver value for clients.
- Creativity and big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
- Proven leadership experience with an appetite to develop and grow the team.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills — approachable, professional, and confident with stakeholders at all levels.
- Outcome-focused with a proactive, positive can-do attitude.
- Collaborative and supportive — a team player who builds trust.
- Genuine passion for events and a desire to grow in the industry.
