About the Role
We are looking for a capable Environmental & Tenement Compliance Officer to work closely with the Head of Approvals & Compliance, contributing to tenement portfolio management, environmental record-keeping, compliance reporting, and ensuring all obligations under the Mining Act and related regulations are met.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain our client's tenement portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation.
Monitor land disturbance and rehabilitation, with accurate record keeping in GIS land disturbance models.
Support the preparation and submission of annual MRF reporting.
Coordinate Program of Work (PoW) applications through to close-out, ensuring full compliance.
Oversee external Tenement Management services to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Support ongoing review and accuracy of environmental databases.
About You
3–5 years post-graduate experience in environmental compliance or related field.
Previous experience in environmental compliance within the mining/resources sector.
Exposure to GIS and QGIS systems.
On-site environmental experience (desirable).
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
