Senior Artisan Baker – Bredco, Albany
Bredco is looking for a skilled, autonomous baker to join our team in Albany. We are a scratch bakery with a solid reputation, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in working with high-quality ingredients and professional equipment.
This is an all-rounder role for a baker who is comfortable running a shift on their own.
The Work
Scratch Production: No pre-mixes. You'll be managing everything from raw ingredients to the final bake.
Fermentation: Managing sourdough and specialty dough mixes, ensuring consistency across varied conditions.
Viennoiserie: Producing croissants and pastries from scratch, including lamination, shaping, and proofing.
Pastry & Decoration: Baking and finishing pastries with a high attention to detail.
Autonomy: Running bakes and mixes independently while maintaining the standards the shop is known for.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience with scratch lamination and sourdough fermentation.
Someone reliable who can work solo without needing to be micromanaged.
A high standard of finish on decorated pastries.

Location: Albany, WA (Great lifestyle, surf, and hiking).

Pay: Competitive salary based on your actual skill level and experience.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
